Victims of Crime Need Your Help

Well-trained prosecutors are the only effective voice for victims of crime, their families, and society as a whole. Unfortunately, training for prosecutors is not cheap as it must be tailored, specialized, and continuing. Virginia’s prosecutors recognize that, in an environment where there is simply not enough governmental funds to adequately support this essential training, inevitably victims will suffer the brunt of the shortfall. This is the inspiration of the Virginia Criminal Justice Foundation.

Your Contribution Can Make A Difference

The VCJF, founded by Virginia prosecutors, represents a remarkable initiative to change the spending habits of one small portion of government from “tax and spend” to “save and spend within our means.” In short, the vision of the VCJF is the creation of an endowed training fund which will use monies generated through saving and investment to provide a sustained flow of resources to train Virginia prosecutors and fellow enforcement personnel. The concept of governmental saving to provide a sustaining training fund has the added benefit of ultimately reducing the continuous demand for taxpayers’ dollars each and every year.
